Powercon

Stabilizer and isolation in one cabinet

Spikes, surges and ground noise from welders, drives and capacitor switching cause most CNC breakdowns. Powercon puts servo voltage correction and ultra isolation in one cabinet, so one install handles both.

Digivolt Servo Voltage Stabilizers

Steady voltage from an unstable supply

Digivolt servo voltage stabilizers, manufactured by NEEL in India, hold output voltage steady when the supply drifts. NEEL sizes the equipment from a measurement of your site supply. Use the configurator to select the supply phase, input voltage window, rating, output voltage, output regulation and cooling option. Leave any unknown option as “NEEL to advise”.

Ultra Isolation Transformers

Galvanic isolation against transients and noise

NEEL ultra isolation transformers provide galvanic isolation against spikes and line noise. They do not correct supply voltage. A servo stabilizer holds output voltage steady when the supply drifts; Powercon combines voltage correction and spike suppression in one unit for CNC machines.

Real Time Power Factor Correction

Thyristor-switched, cycle-by-cycle correction

Welding, CNC, cranes and induction heating change reactive demand within cycles. Contactor-switched banks cannot respond at that speed. NEEL RTPFC switches capacitors with SCRs at zero crossing: real-time correction, no inrush, no contact wear. Available detuned, tuned or per-phase.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a servo stabilizer and an isolation transformer?

A servo stabilizer holds output voltage steady when the supply drifts. An ultra isolation transformer blocks spikes, line noise and ground loops but does not correct voltage. Powercon does both in one cabinet.

What sizes do NEEL servo voltage stabilizers come in?

1 to 25 kVA single-phase and up to 2,500 kVA three-phase, air- or oil-cooled, with ±1% regulation (±0.5% on request).

When do I need a K-rated transformer?

When the load is mostly drives, UPS or IT equipment. Their harmonic currents overheat standard transformers. NEEL K-rated units run at full rating up to 750 kVA; K-13 suits most sites, and the K-factor is chosen from your measured spectrum.

Why real-time power factor correction instead of a contactor panel?

Welding, cranes and induction heating change reactive demand within cycles, faster than contactors can switch. NEEL RTPFC switches capacitors with SCRs at zero crossing, from 100 to 2,000 kVAR at 380 to 690 V.

How does NEEL size the equipment?

From measurement. ELSPEC, Dranetz BMI, Fluke and Tektronix analysers record your supply for several days, and the equipment is rated to the measured load.

Do you supply outside India?

Yes. NEEL equipment is installed across India and in 16 export countries.
